Auto Convert News Feeds from EPUB to MOBI before Device is Connected
Hey Guys,

At the present time, the News Feeds are created in EPUB format, only after I connect my Kindle to the computer, Calibre then converts it to MOBI and uploads the file.

Is there any way to have the News Feeds auto convert from EPUB to MOBI before I connect the Kindle to the computer? This will save so much time, so I can easily connect it and eject it after a minute (instead of waiting for big News Feeds to convert). I rather not have my Kindle connected overnight every day.

The news is generated in your preferred Output format as specified in the Settings. As you have a Kindle why not set this to be mobi so that no conversion will be required.

That sounds great, I looked under Preferences -> Output, but I don't see a way to change the default format from EPUB to MOBI for News Feeds. If you could show me, I'd be so grateful

Another reason to prefer creating MOBIs to begin with: News downloads can create mobi periodicals, but subsequent conversions cannot.
