For what can be useful files in the

Code:

 /mnt/us/

like below:

1) RFF_TOU_TIME
2) UI_QUERY_VERBOSE
3) DONT_USE_CLOUD_INDEX
4) INIT_DUMMY_PROFILES
5) INIT_DUMMY_PROFILES_FROM_FILE
6) DIASBLE_FLASH_ON_CHAPTER
7) READING_TIMER
8) SCRUBBER_POLLING_TIME
9) NUM_SCRUBBER_CHUNKS

What should be the content (if not empty)?

Those look like "flagname files" - -
They should be empty.
They probably do just what they say the are for.

You should also have found additional references to things like:
FONT_RAMP
DO_FACTORY_RESTORE
and others we already use.

I know more (FONT_RAMP and other), but listed files are secret for me.

Why don't you try them and then document the results in this thread?
