Building calibre backend only?
I've prodded through calibre's docs and this forum a bit, but can't find any explanation of how to build calibre's conversion backend (just the format conversions, not the feed fetching stuff) without also building the GUI. Is it possible to build all the xxx2yyy converters without Qt and the rest of the frontend-only libraries?

Qt is not a frontend library, it is used by the converters as well. And calibre is mostly python, there is no real "building" involved.

Ok. So if I wanted just the command-line conversion tools, I'd need a full build of Qt?
Rats. That's unfortunate. |
