You will find an awful lot of people who own Android E-Ink "ereaders" use them as generic E-Ink tablets. I don't have any experience with that myself, so I don't know what specific apps are most popular among such people...
As for dedicated E-Ink ereaders, e.g. Kobo, Nook, Kindle Touch/Paperwhite/Voyage, you cannot really install things on them. Most don't run Android anyway. And their web browsers are pretty lousy in general. |

Thanks a lot
I investigated about it, talk with play books, spotify (netease, give it a try who love listen music), and other uses. Yes, for dedicated e-ink límit the customization, I know that some kobo devices you could put android, but it's unstable. I have big problems with my eyes, I need an android e-reader for this motive ![]() |

They work fine and I myself had Telegram installed and active most of the time on my Boyue T62+.
But the more apps you install that are gonna keep the device's WiFi and CPU active and wake the device up every few minutes to check for new messages, the faster its battery will drain. One of the good things about E-Ink screens is that they consume much less energy than for example LCDs and that's why you'd get sometimes weeks out of each time of recharging the battery! Some apps like Gmail and GDrive in my case were causing the device's battery to go from 100 to 0 in just less than 2 days while I've been getting almost 0.0% per hour of battery drainage without them which would lead to weeks of battery life! If you really need such apps then I suggest you to at least disable their options to constantly check for new messages and waking the device up for every new notification, or you'd have to recharge the device's large battery every day or two! |

![]() Finally you confirm my doubts, I will buy the energy pro +. Yes, I supossed it, but I'm not going to use gmail or similar apps, perfect for me ![]() The sync, I put for 30minutes, 1hour wakelock or only entry into app and problem resolved. ![]() Last edited by Mochy; 07-28-2015 at 08:50 AM. |
