File Browser and Saved Search fonts bigger
This is not really a 'problem', but I do find it slightly annoying. I upgraded to Windows 10 yesterday, and did edit a few books and saw no difference. (Maybe just didn't notice is possible, but it's a glaring change this morning).
The text size in the file browser and for the list of saved searches is MUCH bigger today. The list which used to take maybe half the screen now takes the whole thing (in length, width can't really judge the difference as easily). The text in the preview pane seems fine, maybe a bit bigger, but not as obvious to me. I found a place to change font for the editor, but that only affects the editor window, not the others. Any idea. It's not horrible, but will need getting used to if I can't change it. |

Just saw that Check Book and Find and Replace history is also bigger. I'm guessing the update affected something, but I'm at a loss as to what. I'm also sure that there was no difference last night, but it was late...

You can change the GUI font in the main calibre preferences under look & feel that affects the editor as well.

Ah okay. Wouldn't have thought of changing it there, although the 'regular' Calibre was fine. I'm seeing that it must be the upgrade, because I changed the font to check the difference, and the original default I had (MS Shell Dlg), which I never changed before, was gone from the list afterwards. Now I have to find one similar that I like

MS Shell Dlg is a virtual font. It is automatically replaced by a suitable font by windows when used. IIRC the suitable font is whatever you have chosen in the windows preferences or a fallback font if that font is not capable of displaying the text being shown.
