Purplezengoat: juggling 26 letters

Hi all

Since the start of 2015 I have been dedicating myself full-time to my writing.

So far I have self-published two short stories: Fate and Asparagus and First Snow. Both of them hark back to my youth in Belgium.

The main focus of my work is on my first novel, Resilience. I have just started editing my first draft and you can follow its progress on my blog.

Resilience is set in Melbourne in 2009 and deals with a range of themes, including child protection and mental health. I would like my novel to contribute, in a small way, to better community understanding of these issues (without sacrificing its integrity as a story – a tricky balancing act at times).
