Full Calibre on Android TV box?
Nowadays Android TV Box is very powerful and can run as a headless server for many applications. It also consumes power only 4-10 watt.
I now attach a 2.5" external disk and use it as a FTP/SAMBA/WEB server without problem. Just wonder is there any chance we can install full Calibre in such Android TV Box, with its Content Server on 7x24? Most Android TV box uses ARM CPU. |

Sure, but you will need to compile it for yourself, as the only precompiled binaries are for i686/x86_64.
There are a bunch of people who e.g. run calibre on a Raspberry Pi running ArchLinux, since ArchLinux has up-to-date dependencies, and stuff. ![]() |
