Video Games

Anyone here play any games? I'm a really old school gamer going back to NES and only up to GameCube/Play Station 2 - and a few Wii games.

I had a Sega Genesis and a few Gameboys growing up. My friend and I used to come home from school and play through all the Sonic the Hedgehogs. The last time we played a game together was when the first Playstation came out. I remember her laughing so hard because we were playing this fighting game, and the two opponents were bears, and I kicked hers in the nethers.

But I was more into playing games on the computer. The Microsoft Entertainment Pack - Chip's Challenge, Rodent's Revenge, JezzBall, Tetris, Pipe Dream, SkiFree. Also would buy those $10 game compilation disks.

Now I have a Nintendo 3DS, but I still prefer computer and mobile games these days. Mostly because fast-paced 3D motion makes me nauseated.

The only game I'm really addicted to is Clash of Clans. hihihi

Yup, though after almost 30 years of gaming my interest has definitely waned quite a bit; I've gone from buying every console to pretty much following Nintendo exclusively for the past year or so. I've come full circle and back to my love of Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Donkey Kong, etc.

I have a PlayStation 2 and 3. As well as a Nintendo Wii and WiiU. I do have a GameCube too but I don't play it much anymore; loved playing Pikmin, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Mario Kart: Double Dash, Luigi's Mansion, Mario Party, Super Mario Sunshine, and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. I now mostly play video games on my PS3 and the WiiU. I also own a Nintendo 3DS which I mostly play The Legend of Zelda games on (love the Zelda video games).

Got a Playstation 3 and next year I plan on getting a PS4.
I love my games as much as I love my books.

Anyone do Steam and Humble Bundles? I have over 80 games on that service.

You pay like $4 to $7 and get like 8 to 10 games every time. You save a bit of money considering most of the games are at those prices just standalone.

If you are a computer gaming from way back, try gog.com. They have the great games (and the not so good games) of the past most under $5. I've been a gamer since before the Commodore 64. I started with the text-based games like Zork. Now I play mainly MMO games on the net with The Old Republic being my favorite.
