Kristine Kathryn Rusch is going to do an anthology for BAEN highlighting the long, neglected history of female SF writers.

Lots of writers and books highlighted. Good for anybody looking for recommendations.

Looks like a great project.

I have been a fan of female SF writers for years. Of my top 10 favourite books/series, I believe more than half of the authors are female.

I'm hoping they do something closer to the Miller HISTORY OF SF series than a simple one or two volume anthology.
There's a lot of good but neglected *stories* that just happen to come from women writers.

SF didn't go from Mary Shelley to C.L. Moore to Norton to Bujold with nothing in between.
