Smile Cyberbooks by Ben Bova

Baen has released Cyberbooks by Ben Bova as a stand alone ebook for $5.00. I checked Amazon but it is not there. Do not know if this will be on Baenebooks only or if it will be uploaded to all the stores.

In all formats DRM FREE.

Baen

Quote:
Computer genius Carl Lewis has invented the cyberbook, an electronic device that instantly and inexpensively brings the written word to the masses. But not everyone warms to Carl's ideas. Add corporate spies, authors threatening to strike, and a wave of mysterious murders, and you have Ben Bova at his best.

Cyberbooks also appears in Laugh Lines

You'd be better off buying Laugh Lines at $6.99 and you get two books instead of one at $5.00.

Thanks all -- the comments on the Amazon version make me think it's *precisely* the sort of book I'll love. So I bought Laugh Lines. 1970's and dry-witted techy person that I am.

Crisis of the Month
describes the present 24 hour news cycle too close for comfort.

His Exiles Trilogy and Mars books are good reads too.

Laugh Lines is also available at Kobo, and couponable (if you're playing along with the current contest).

If you're searching for a witty 70/80s computer tech story and like fantasy, R. A. MacAvoy's _Tea with the Black Dragon_ may be a good choice.

An excellent book. The sequel, Twisting the Rope is good too.
