Recipe not pulling flow_size setting?

I'm trying to get my Instapaper recipe going - there seems to be a couple "poison" articles in my feed that are triggering this error:

Could not find reasonable point at which to split: feed_0/article_1/index_u2.html Sub-tree size: 365 KB

I ran the recipe from a command line and I figured out that if I crank up the flow_size setting (tried 990) it will work and the EPUB gets generated.

I can't seem to change the setting in Calibre proper though. If I just go to Preferences > Conversion > Output Options > Epub Output and change the "Split files larger than" to the same value it doesn't seem to force the recipe to use it.

When I look at my log file for the failed download it still shows this:

'flow_size': 260,

Am I missing something basic? Where does the recipe download pull its settings from?

Thanks as always...

Use conversion_options in the recipe itself.

Cool - that seemed to do the trick. One small note: the conversion_option overrides do not show up in the log file. It still shows the default flow_size in it. I know the 990 took, though since it worked...
