Alphabetizing in Calibre to have alphabetical in Kindle?

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum, so I apologize if this is a duplicate thread.

I'm wanting to figure out a way to allow the books I have to be alphabetical both in author and title. For example, right now it looks like this

Book D Jane Boe
Book C Jane Boe
Book B Jane Doe
Book A Jane Doe

And I'd like it to be

Book C Jane Boe
Book D Jane Boe
Book A Jane Doe
Book B Jane Doe

I know in Calibre, and in my kindle, you can sort by author or by title, though I have a few authors with multiple books, and for those authors, the titles are in what appears to be a random order. It's certainly not a major issue, and if there's no way to correct that that's fine. I think it's just my wanting to be organized-ness that is making me want everything lined up nicely.

Seriously: Title D comes after C
You either sort by Title or You sort by Author

What is first prevails
BUT there can be BIAS (in Calibre, but the device may not allow)

If you click (sort) the Title column,
Then sort the Authors column, the Titles WITHIN an Author will be biased (sorted) by title

As to your oddball multiple authors titles.
Verify the Author_sort value is proper (the Quality check PI has a whole raft of tests to help stabilize your metadata.
