Hi - and thanks
The introduction bit:
I'm Fake51, living+working in London, UK. Spend about two hours on the tube five days a week so I've been thinking a bit about the whole e-reading thing. Got stuck on my mind so I finally upped and bought me a Hanlin V3 (or so I thought: turns out I bought a LBook V3). And I am happy ![]() The thanks bit: When figuring out what the options were for purchasing kit I came to the mobileread wiki almost instantly. Nice amount of info there, awesome in fact. My further questions were settled by this forum - including my latest struggle, updating the firmware. So thanks a lot for the help, this place is great. Regards Fake |

alas I get motion sickness trying to read on the train/car/bus/bicycle
(the last ones a hard feat in any case - requires the ability to dodge upcoming objects using only peripheral vision - helmet highly recommended). luckly most e-book readers have mp3 (ie.audio books) built-in. Hope u don't have that problem Fake51 |

Nah, I'm good. I have actually been known to do some reading while biking though I haven't kept that up lately (biking in London just doesn't seem to be conducive to your health, much less while reading).
Thanks for the welcome ![]() |

I read with the Sony while I'm walking on the treadmill at the gym and love it. Makes 60 minutes go like six minutes. Now, if I could just figure out how to read while I'm swimming. Nah, bad idea, like reading and biking in London.
