Wigets

How do I delete the WIGETS form the widgets page? Note not from the home page, but disable and delete entirely.

To the best of my knowledge you cannot. The only way I know to ensure that the widgets are not proposed in the widgets panel is to remove them from CC itself.

I haven't the faintest idea why you would want to do this but assuming you have your reasons ...

You could always try a method that I came across by (unhappy) accident on an older Samsung Galaxy Note1. If your device allows you to move the CC app to the external SD card then CC's widgets (and any other moved app) will no longer appear in the Widget drawer.

I second this. But to be honest, aside from the widgets being disabled, there's really no advantage to move CC to the SD card because the database is still saved on the Internal Memory. At least that's how it appears on my phone. All in all, my CC is about 81MB (75.75MB is the database size). When I move it to the SD card it only moves about 2MB.

I also am a bit confused about why one would want to remove widgets from the widgets page. I will keep the transferring [to SD issue in mind.

I actually love the widgets. I am usually reading 2-3 books and this way I can easily pick the one I want.

hleo12 - you can move all your data (books) to your SD. If you have Kit Kat it takes some extra steps, but otherwise you can change it at the same place you choose which formats to download (very first option). It doesn't jump out at you, but it's on the top of that page.

I was pertaining to just the app size and not the book files. I have about 4+ GB of books on my memory card. Most of Calibre Companion's app size is its database. And it can't be transferred to your memory card. So moving CC to the external storage is quite useless since CC stores the database index in the internal memory of the device.
