Downloading All From Content Server
Hello,
I happen to have access to a Calibre content server that I want to back up in case if it ever goes down This server contains a very large number of books so manual download is impossible. Are there any tools/methods to help download all books from a content server? Thanks |

Downloading the books from it is hardly a terribly efficient way to back up a server. Why not use normal backup tool and back up the files directly from its disk?

In that case it hardly seems like your responsibility to back up someone else's server for them. Do you have some reason to suppose that the server owner is not making adequate backups?

I don't see what this has to do with my question but yes. I also have reasons to suppose it won't be online for too long.

The solution is to get downloading and keep going until you finish.

You can try something like wget or HTTrack. Both can walk the site downloading pages and the files linked.
