Can i leave kobo touch inside car in summer?

Or is temperature too hot to maintain kobo in good condition?
I usually read it when my son has class, then i leave it in the car when we go to park or so

I've had plastic toys half-melted and warped when left inside a car in the summer. I would never consciously leave a reader in those conditions.

But, if the summer is mild in your place, the car is in the shade, and the reader is further protected (inside a bag or some other container), it might be safe.

It's never safe to leave any electronic device in a hot car in the summer. Look at the device's specs and you'll see that it's safe to keep it at temperatures up to about 95 degrees. Anything above that can damage the device. On a hot summer day a car parked in the sun with the windows closed can reach nearly 200 degrees because the car's windows have a greenhouse effect.

If you just have to do this at least leave the windows open enough to allow some heat to escape but even then you're taking a big chance.

I'd never risk leaving in a parked car, even in the shade. Our summers are often upper 80s, but can get to the mid-90s, but not sure I'd do it even if it was only in 70s because of the way the heat can build up inside a parked car.
