calibre for many kindle models at home
we have at home at least one device of all later KINDLE models, and we use calibre for conversion from epub/docx/etc to MOBI/AZW3.
QUESTIONS ARE: having different kindle models were the MOBI/AZW3 will be transferred to, which KINDLE should I specify on the"COMMON OPTIONS" KINDLE device selection during conversion. ( older or newer one ) ????? Will one conversion be good for all kindle models or I should convert it to the specific KINDLE model ??????? thanks in advance juabba |

You can choose any profile, it really only matters regarding image output. Conversions will only resize images to match the maximum allowed image size for your default device profile.

K3 and up can still use that, but AZW3 has more options (Publisher styles enabled on the device) So, your choice to do a EPUB to AZW3 conversion NOTE: converting Mobi to AZW3 gains nothing unless you then edit (enhance) the AZW3 |

12 posts since August 2010, and one of those was juabba's heartfelt apology to you. I think the second sentence of your notice would have had the desired effect. |
