Lightbulb Free (Kindle) Gandhi: A Life Inspired [Indian Leader Civil Rights Activism Biography]

Gandhi: A Life Inspired by Lynn M. Hamilton is a quickie mini-biography of the celebrated Indian civil rights activist leader (whom I'm not going to wiki-link you for, since if you don't already know who he is, then as TVTropes used to put it, You Fail History Forever*), giving a light overview covering his life and times from his early years through to the achievement of his nation's independence from the British Empire and eventual murder, free courtesy of small specialty imprint Wyatt North Publishing, who usually give us mostly Christian-related faith and spirituality books.

Despite the subtitle, there are no apparent faith mentions (Hindu, Christian†, or otherwise, aside from the sampler excerpt on some Catholic saint in the back of the book) in this on a quick skim, and it mainly focuses on the surrounding conditions of the time and Gandhi's actions in response to them.

Currently free @ Amazon (available to Canadians & in the UK and likely worldwide, since it looks like they're doing this one via KDP Select, even though a good chunk of their catalogue is for sale in other venues as well).

* It really hasn't been the same since they renamed that to "Artistic License — History" since sometimes it's not so much a question of license, which implies a certain amount of conscious consideration going into the deviation, even if it's just the quickly-dismissed firing of a single synapse, as outright Did Not Do The Research, which is considerably more common.

† Disappointingly, they didn't even quote Gandhi's famous quotes about liking your Christ but not your Christians because they were so unlike your Christ.
