Count Your Blessings: A Novella by Sharon Sala is apparently a re-titling of a tie-in short to her contemporary Southern women's fiction novel The Curl Up and Dye centred around the titular hair salon in small-town Georgia, this story apparently featuring strong f/m romantic elements (the original is filed purely under women's fic, but this repackage is blurbed as a romance) as the protagonist gets a makeover at said salon, free courtesy of publisher Sourcebooks, who are moving it to their Casablanca imprint from their Landmark imprint, where it was originally titled Color Me Bad.

Well, that was a complicated provenance.

Currently free to pre-order (slated for May 5th) @ Amazon (available to Canadians & in the UK), and will no doubt show up in all the other venues when the time comes.

A little by default, but we do have some fellow MR members in the Romance megathread who consider Sala to be among their favourite authors, so hopefully getting another freebie of hers brightens their day a little (assuming they didn't already spend money on the original version, that is).
