Question Search in the contents of the eBooks in Calibre

Hello everybody,
Is it possible to search for words/phrases/expressions in the contents of the eBooks in Calibre library? If yes, how?
Thanks for your comments in advance

@Danesh - the optional Quality Check PI has a feature - but its slow.

IMO its better to get your OS to index the library folders and use its search facility, maybe not if your on XP - or use a 3rd party product.

I regularly search 3 calibre libraries (70,000 books), email, blog posts, notebooks, documents, et cetera with Windows Search - average search takes 2-10 seconds. You have to have a searchable format - Windows can't index EPUB or MOBI, OS/X Spotlight will index EPUB not sure about MOBI.

Spotlight will index MOBI as well, I believe.

For linux, recoll will search EPUB at least (and there is even a calibre plugin for it), don't know about a MOBI filter.

I cannot find mention on the internet of a MOBI or EPUB iFilter for Windows Indexing Service.

Be aware that the Recoll PI has not been updated to be calibre 2 compliant ==>> Stats for porting of calibre plugins to Qt 5

Nor I - surprises me that someone hereabouts hasn't written one for EPUB. I'd donate a few drachma's to such a thing - crowd fund

I did see an html indexer, with source code somewhere - codeplex perhaps or code project. Perhaps that could be used as the basis for EPUB indexer.
