Winter's Children by Leah Fleming is her standalone literary fiction/family drama novel with supernatural elements set in the Yorkshire Dales, centred around a contemporary family experiencing troubles around the holiday times, which may be related to prior local tragedies that occurred in previous centuries, free courtesy of publisher HarperCollins UK's Avon imprint.

Apparently, this contains festive recipes (at least, there's one for mincemeat in the opening sample, and there may be more scattered throughout the text).
