Test plugin v013 failure on Sigil 0.9.6

On Sigil 0.9.6, I get this error when I try to run testplugin v013:

Error: Interpreter python3.4 has no path set

I don't think I even have Python 3.4. I met the compilation requirements with a mixture of Python 3 and Python 3.5, whichever were available from the official repositories.

Any suggestions on how to go about fixing this?

python 3.4 or later must be installed for Sigil to work. So your python3.5 should be just fine. Go to Plugins -> Manage Plugins and browse to select your python 3.5 location on your system, then try again with testplugin v13

Thanks. It looks like all the tests passed.

May I ask why there are 2 lines for Python Interpreters? One line wants Python >= 2.7, and the other wants Python >= 3.4. I used 2.7 in the first line and 3.5 in the second and they worked, but would, say, Python 3.5 work for both?

Because plugins could historically be written for Python 2 or for Python 3. Or they could be written to support either. But Python 2 support for plugins is going away, so I don't recommend configuring it. Just complete the ≥3.4 field and leave the ≥Python 2.7 field blank. It's vestigial at this point.
