M96 and big stylus eraser

Hello!

I have been using my M96 and so far it is reasonably good for reading PDFs (which is what I bought it for), save for a few random lockups here and there.

I have the Booxtor version with the "big" stylus, and I have installed the lastest firmware (2015-02-04) and enabled the "Use Big pen" option in the settings. Every time I use the "eraser" side of the stylus in NeoReader it writes rather than erase. I haven't found a way to erase unless I click the erase tool in the scribble bar.

Is there any setting I might have forgot to change? Or is it just that I misunderstood how it works?

I have the same problem, I also don't know what is the button on the stylus is for

I was able to fix it!

What I did was to go to "Settings", "Extensions", "Pen", and then disable the "Enable big pen" option. After the touchscreen firmware was updated, I went back to the launcher and rebooted (just in case). Then I went back and enabled the big pen again, going back to the launcher and rebooting after the touchscreen update was successfully finished.

After that, the eraser works well in NeoReader (we'll see if that also fixes the stability issues).
