The Watcher's Keep, Book 1 of the Triadine Saga is now available on all major booksellers.

The Watcher’s long ago abandoned their sworn duty to monitor and suppress the powers of Khollaran, an evil wizard, locked away in a distant prison at the end of the First Age. As his power grows, an ancient and dire prophecy appear to be coming true.

The Guardians take actions to try to stop him, putting young Peter and Alexandra in the middle of the greatest conflict since the Breaking of the World.

As the Children of the Prophecy, the twins will be tasked with a near impossible quest to recover the pieces of the fabled Triadine and unite the races in a battle to destroy the growing evil, without destroying the world in the process.

There are currently 4 books in the outline. Book II is at the editor now. Book III should be published by June.

There is also a prequel in the works which should be out in March.

Beyond that, it will depend on how much people enjoy the world and it's history. There are many options for books both before and after the current Saga should there be interest.

I'm wondering who your editor is and whether your first book was edited. I decided to give it a look at Smashwords and in the second sentence of the Prologue it reads: "and then latter in the hidden elven city". It may be debatable whether "elven" should be "Elven" (it should; you wouldn't write "asian or african-american") but in no dictionary I know is "later" spelled "latter" -- two different word, two different meanings.

I'm writing this because it doesn't get better. The last sentence of the first paragraph continues the errors. The sentence reads: "Some of the slant is therefor toward the elves as victims or heroes when in fact they may have played a lesser role than contained within." In American dictionaries, "therefor" requires an ending "e" as in "therefore". There are other errors in the sentence, including no logical transition from previous sentences. (I'd also add that "therefor" is unnecessary to the sentence.)

Anyway, I'm not willing to buy a book that has so many errors in the very first paragraph. It doesn't bode well for the rest of the text. I do not expect a book to be error free, but a few scattered errors is a lot different than being assaulted in the first paragraph.

Thank you Richard. I will feed this to my editor immediately and agree that these errors are unacceptable. Interesting that therefor is an adverb in my dictionary, however it's archaic and you are correct does not belong in a modern novel.

Elven and later were both corrected in the version on my laptop, so that's a little troublesome as well.

Though it does not excuse the result, I understand why the Smashwords preview version is not what is in my final version of the book - if anyone cares.

We made the mistake of uploading a Smashwords DOC file before uploading a preformated ePub. I say the mistake only because we do not intend to use the MeatGrinder to make ePubs for Smashwords.

It looks like the only way to correct this is to unpublish from Smashwords and then publish again as new. I have asked support to remove all of the Smashwords generated files from the DOC upload, but have not heard back from them yet.

We have not update the DOC file at Smashwords, while the ePub has had several updates since the first version was published.

Mystery solved anyway...
