Before the Final Encore by Scotty Cade is the #0.5 prequel novella to his m/m country western singer romantic suspense novel, explaining the heartbroken New Adult backstory of one of the leads who eventually becomes a Nashville record executive, free courtesy of publisher Dreamspinner Press.

This is apparently being made free to promote the 2nd edition revised re-release of Final Encore, which is slated for next week.

A bit by default, but we could use some more diversity in the official publisher promo freebies we get, especially romance-wise, and I like it when we get these sorts of story-relevant tie-in shorts rather than glorified sample chapter excerpts when it comes time to do the promos if they're not giving away the 1st-in-series outright, so bonus points. <-- apparently, we can make up an entire music band full of MR smileys; with a Spinal Tap-esque spare replacement drummer, to boot!
