ios and android app that syncs between devices

And no not kobo or kindle.

I'm looking for an app that will sync progress and ideally books between ios and android. It will need to support epub and I guess the term is side loading. I've got an extensive collection of books already and kobo and kindle will sync books purchased thru their bookstores but not already owned books

Does such a beast exist ?

Bluefire offers a sync option in both their Android & iOS apps if I recall correctly.

Last I checked the Kindle app will sync books not from the Kindle store if they're uploaded to your Amazon cloud by using send to Kindle or emailing to the apps email address.

Blue fire has some incredibly bad reviews that seem like legit problems

It seems to be the only one that might meet the needs tho

Bluefire is free, so it won't cost you anything to try it. I don't think it is bad. I do have my wishlist of things I wish it would do. It's the only one I can think of that will sync between Android and iOS.

The Kindle app will, and it will sync your own content if you upload it to Amazon's cloud.
