Win 8 Phone/Kindle App

Hello all, new member,
I have a Nokia Win 8 phone with the Kindle App installed. Using Calibre I send a book to the phone with Calibre outputting in Mobi, AZW3, Automatic (have tied all three). Book appears on device in Calibre and also under computer>phone>books but it is not listed in the Kindle App. Am I missing something? Does the Kindle App need to be pointed to the file in some manner or non-compatible?
Thanks in advance for any guidance.

I found this article on how to do it. http://m0ngr31.us/kindle/windows-phone/

The easiest way would be to just use Calibre's Send to Kindle function.

Have you tried setting up the email function and emailing it to the kindle app on the phone. It will store the ebook as a doc In the amazon cloud and it will be available to all of your devices.
