Autofill Columns
I'm sorry if this has been asked before, couldn't find anything with search.
Is it possible to auto-populate certain fields when one is filled(based on previous metadata)? eg. Series_________Target_Readership___Author Dresden Files___Male_______________Jim Butcher Filing any of them will fill the others. Thanks. |

Not unless the other fields are custom composite columns.

This is not what you're asking about, but it does pertain to an easy way to enter the same metadata in multiple books:
- Sort on the author column to get all your "Jim Butcher" books together and then highlight them. - Click the Edit Metadata button or right-click the highlighed area and select Edit Metadata -> Edit in Bulk. - Any data entered will occur in ALL the highlighted books. Powerful tool, so proceed with caution. You can easily make a bulk-mistake! ![]() |

Oh, good point regarding the Bulk Edit.
You can also use a series of S&R regexes to match the source column and update the destination columns one by one. |
