Hunter Sacrificed by Nancy Corrigan is an introductory prequel novella to her Wild Hunt series of f/m paranormal urban fantasy romance based primarily on Celtic mythology (but with crossovers from other pantheons), this installment giving the long-ago backstory of the Welsh god of the underworld Arawn's quest to set right his wrongs by making a terrible pact with the Wild Hunt, and incidentally also his love for the Roman goddess Minerva (not actually the Roman goddess of love; someone really didn't do their research, and hopefully it was only the blurb writer), free courtesy of publisher Samhain.

But his sacrifice doesn't go far enough to end the humans' agony. It compounds it--and turns him into a pawn. He cannot renege on his deal with the Triad, but he can avenge those he's wronged.

To do that, he'll need every one of his Huntsmen to win the greatest game of all time--the Wild Hunt.
