FIXED: Font settings wrongly applying to previous section of book

I have been using my Kobo Aura for a couple of month. Have had no problems for the first couple of books but now have had a strange problem with last 2 books. Both are Pratchett Discoworld books from the Overdrive library.

The books are divided into sections, such as seen in the toc: content, begin reading, about the author, praise, etc.

When I am in the main book section ("begin reading") and make any changes to the font (type, size, line spacing) NOTHING happens to that section HOWEVER the changes are applied to the previous section (content)...

In order to change font settings in the main section, I actually need to go to the next section (about the author), make changes there -- nothing happens to that section, but when I come back to my main section my latest changes have been applied there!

So basically this is what I am experiencing:
- font settings are set differently for each section of the book (that might be normal)
- font settings made in a given section do not apply to that section but instead apply to the previous section.

It does not happen with every book so I assume is book related. I am running software 3.12.

Has anybody experienced this kind of behavior? What could be the explanation?

Try restarting the device and see what happens. I have seen problems with changing the fonts that made me think the font rendering engine had died. Restarting the device solved this. I haven't seen it for a while, so this might not be the problem.

Restarting fixed it! So simple I didn't think of it. Thank you so much for pointing me in that direction.
