Lost my old 6 inch kindle and now looking to buy a good reader.
my criterias : 1. bigger than 6 inch screen 2. functions good with big pdf files (no crash, zooming possibilities) 3. not very expensive (around 200€) I dont care much about other feature, maybe backlight is great but a nice budget big screen reader without backlight is reasonable ![]() update : I live in italy... 2. Hmm.... no idea. 3. Tricky, especially for the bigger screens. I think you'd better clarify how much bigger than 6.8" you want! |

![]() Obviusly bigger screen is better, but still 6.8 inch is acceptable. i watched some videos to compare size of Kubo Aura 6.8 versus a kindle and seems extra 0.8 inch is significant. I want to use reader in horizontal mode to read pdfs my main concern is ability to handle pdf in the best way: I searched alot about e readers that can handle pdf in an easy way and seems like kindle pw2 and voyage are the best... also in case of many choices I like to add backlight as an option. ![]() |

The Onyx M96/M96c are your best bet. Maybe an old Kindle DX with koreader would do it, too. But I'd get the Onyx.

The 6"+ screen for your budget doesn't exist (except maybe the Kobo Aura HD).
For 6", you can find nook st cheap. Try ebay. It's not ideal for pdf, but it's workable. See the other thread in this sub-forum about it. Also, a Kobo glo can be overwritten with Android or you can install koreader (I don't know about all that). Also maybe a Kindle with koreader, but beware, the newer kindles are impossible to customize because Amazon block all the hacks. For 6.8", there is the Aura HD and H20. The HD can be overwritten with android, the H2O not. But again, maybe koreader will help. |

Plus shipping. But the T68 is the best bet. Does it have a no-refresh mode out-of-the-box?

M96 does, so the T68 should. OP: Read pdfs in landscape mode to make them more legible. Lots of android pdf reading apps available.
