Check MR every 30 seconds. Drink lots of coffee or alcoholic beverages, depending on mood and time of day (no Zany Carter Deluxes before 10am). Quit job.

Through iron determination, I don't put MR up on a tab till lunch time. Heck, if I brought it up any earlier it might interfere with my surreptitiously having a read on my Sony, er, I mean working hard. Yes, that's it.

I didn't get an eBook reader to sneak in the occasional chapter at work. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

I got the Kindle for interstitial reading. Then I got caught up here, and now I spend my lunch hours doing my notes becasue I keep putting them off.

Running my own company (fancy term for self-employed) leaves me less time for my own pleasures than I had when I was an officer of larger firms. Then I could shut my door and "work on papers." (That was fine as long as my bandwidth requirements didn't slow down the LAN Admin's on-line games.)
