External light source for Kindle Touch

In another post I wrote I might buy a Paperwhite just for its light. Someone replied about book lights. I had forgotten about them and didn't realize how popular they were and how many different kinds are made.

I was wondering which ones people here think are best for a basic Kindle. (I think you call it the KT2.) Thanks for any replies.

My suggestion is to get a cover that has room to slide in an M-Edge E-Luminator. Then you'll have a light for your Kindle. You'll have to find where to buy an E-Luminator though.

KT2 is the correct term (mostly used in the developers' forum). As far as I can tell, the term KTB is used only by one non-Kindle user and no one else. The rest of us wouldn't know what you are talking about if you used KTB.

Anyway, I can't help you with an external light - never found one I liked with my older readers. I solved it by first going with the PW1 and later I switched to a Voyage. I like the front light on both quite a lot. Best of luck on your search!

Actually, KT2 and KTB are both incorrect. According to Amazon, it's just K.

Sorry to disappoint you but here the consensus is KT2.

And for what it is worth, Amazon calls it the Kindle not the K.

Why in the world does it matter what they called! Any ereader that does Not have its own built in light needs a light to read by after dark! I used several you can get ones that clip on the ereader some that slider into special cases. I have one of those But not the special case so I slide the light between the ereader & case works great! But to each their own what works for 1 may not work for another.

Yes, I know Amazon call it Kindle. But K is the abbreviation just like KT is for Kindle Touch. KT2 and KTB are for no models Amazon actually make.
