Forget Me Not by Australian author Stacey Nash is the 1st in her The Collective quartet of YA near-future dystopian science fiction suspenseful action adventures with strong f/m romantic elements starring a girl who uncovers a mysterious global Clarke-ian sufficiently advanced techno-conspiracy somehow related to her late mother's brooch which is more than it seems*, which of course targets her as a result of it, leading to her encountering the obligatory underground resistance, etc. etc., this installment setting all that up for her future rebellious adventures with her remaining family and friends and the inevitable love interest, free courtesy of publisher HarperCollins Australia's Impulse imprint.

This is the iTunes Australia store's featured Free Book of the Week and is also being made free elsewhere to promote the upcoming 3rd-in-series, Never Forgotten, which is slated for release in September, and seems to be on pre-order sale for just $2.99 CAD or the equivalent in most venues. Incidentally, the 2nd-in-series, Remember Me, is apparently deep-discounted in multiple venues as a tie-in promotion (currently 99 cents in Canada @ Kobo (not couponable)).

Currently free, probably just through Monday @ B&N (also UK), Amazon (available to Canadians & in the UK), Kobo & Google Play (both available to Canadians) & iTunes AU & NZ (weirdly, only free in those two stores and nowhere else worldwide that I spot-checked, but YMMV and they might drop elsewhere later).
