Hi.

Is that OK to use an (Chinese) USB Power Adapter: Output: 5V -- 1500mA on Paperwhite (1)?

Yes, though you will hear from people who claim that some off-brand wall adapters have caused damage to their devices. I myself use a Powergen 5v 2.4A adapter to charge many of my USB devices, haven't had any issues.

You can use the one that came with your phone (given it came with a micro-USB charger).

Or you can simply use your computer and plug into a usb port, no wall adapter needed.

Be wary of low-cost unbranded wall chargers. Many of them are electrically unsafe. There's certainly no need to pay the ridiculous price that Amazon charge for their own branded charger, but avoid the very cheap, "no-name" ones.
