Free (Kindle) 4 titles from Belle Rabbit [Literary, Kids, Humour, Writing Advice]

Belle Rabbit is an offshoot of Southern specialty publisher Bell Bridge Books, who've been quite generous about continuing to offer us several novel-length long-term freebies (which can be found at the bottom of page 2 and the top of page 3 of the tag, incidentally), and are currently offering us 4 additional free titles today and probably for the next few days (I think they're doing these via KDP Select's Amazon-exclusivity program, which limits them to a max of 5 out of 90, but generally does make them available worldwide).

We're getting 2 humorous picture books (may have special device requirements), a literary short, and a writing advice guide, all by the imprint's founder and editor-in-chief, Deborah Smith.
  1. Cat Haiku @ Amazon (available to Canadians & in the UK)

New York Times bestselling romance author Deborah Smith's humorous illustrated book of paintings, drawings and photographs featuring cats and silly haiku she wrote to go with the images.
  2. Lardbutt and Guacamole @ Amazon (available to Canadians & in the UK)

An illustrated children's book about Lardbutt, a kitty with a very large behind, who gets bullied at school. Then, one day, he befriends a new kitty, Guacamole, who's small and doesn't speak English very well. When the bullies come after Guacamole, Lardbutt decides to take action.
  3. Hearing Wings, 2nd in the In A Nutshell series of literary fiction shorts @ Amazon (available to Canadians & in the UK)

A Kindle short read (5-minutes) about the drama of spring birds taking up residence in the house, quirky southern humor, poignant superstitions and their underlying meaning as we strive to connect with the loved ones we've lost. A quick memory-read by the author of bestsellers A PLACE TO CALL HOME, THE CROSSROADS CAFE, STONE FLOWER GARDEN and others.
  4. Southern Girls Sag: Why writing books is scary, and other uplifting advice @ Amazon (available to Canadians & in the UK)

Funny, helpful advice on staying motivated as a writer, from New York Times' and No. 1 Kindle bestselling novelist Deborah Smith, (The Crossroads Cafe.) A quick read. Smith writes romantic southern fiction and has sold more than 3 million copies worldwide.

Thanks! Interestingly enough, Amazon only lets me specify my Android and the Cloud as destinations for this file -- all other options, including my Kindle for PC, are grayed out and cannot be selected.

I had a peek inside that one, and I think it's because the author put a lot of her paintings and illustrations inside to accompany her writing anecdotes. It's probably done as a Kindle Kids' Book or Kindle Comic or some other non-standard Amazon format.
