Something in this range of prices?
Hi guys.

I've recently bought a reconditioned kindle paperwhite (1) for 79 euro, but I had to ask for three replacements by now because of minor defects. Greenish screen, black dot, snapped out frame...the last one is suffering from a violet light at the bottom.

I don't know if I should ask for a refund and buy something else with similar quality for the price (if it exist), or keep asking for replacements.

What do you think guys?

You should give it a try and read a while with it and see if the light is distracting to you or not. It is easy to find flaws if you want to find them. However it is up to you to decide if those flaws ruin it for you or not. You might be better off with a refurb PW2? Both my wifes and my own PW1 are not perfect, but it doesn't distract from reading too much. The only thing I wish I had was a higher resolution screen - next to my phone the PW lower resolution really shows.

I think you should go with a Kobo Aura HD. Kobo is having a $99 sale starting December 9th and you can order it then and get it for a good price.

Just to clarify, it's the Kobo Aura that's on sale for $99 (Dec 9th through 31st), not the Aura HD.
