Sort series on Kobo Aura H2O

Hello,

I'm trying to sort series by books but it seems I'm unable to do so on my Kobo Aura H2O. I'm using calibre with the Kobo Utils 1.8.1.

I used the "Order Series Shelves" option, and I set the series ordering to last added. I also see the series title and index in the series list (see picture) but I can't get it to sort the right way. Can anyone help?

I hope Kobo will add better series support sometime in the future.

Unfortunately, the date added sort is broken in the recent firmware. There is nothing we can do until Kobo decide to fix it. Or to add series sorting in some other way.

And by another means, what many of us do is to use a calibre plugboard to modify the title by prepending series info.

For instance I add an abbreviated form of the series name and series index to the title, ending up with HP - 01 - Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, HP - 02 - Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets etc.
