I have run a busy professional practice for over 36 years and have had very little time for recreational reading. My daughters bought me a Kindle Paperwhite for Christmas last year and I have rather "connected" with it. It's one of the best presents I have ever received. The convenience makes reading a pleasure! I then discovered Calibre which I find ideal to organize and store my books, most of which I have purchased from Amazon. I have been an avid Mac user since the mid 80's.

I did encounter a problem with Calibre a month ago and in my web search for a solution I discovered MobileRead. Although I have been "connected" with the internet since it's inception, I have no real experience with forums such as this one. I searched the various forums and threads and was rather baffled and awed by the technological jargon. I couldn't find information that resembled my problem and most of what I read was unintelligible to me.

Any advice regarding how I should start, and where, would be greatly appreciated.
