Grayed out Genre icon?
Simple question but I haven't found the answer elsewhere: What's the reason a Genre icon may be grayed out? Thanks in advance,

genre is a commonly-used custom column example, but isn't built into calibre.

@eschwartz I thought I was going senile, how could I miss something like that

Tag Browser Icons have a feature: "Show Average Rating" that darkens a percentage of the icon based upon rating
Preferences: Behavior:tag browser (tab): tick box

Cool, I didn't know that. I mercilessly kill all ratings as soon as they try to sneak in.
So it turns out all my icons are grayed out and I thought that was the natural look. I have fixed that tick box,

Also, that would be Preferences ==> Interface (category) ==> Look and Feel ==> Tag Browser (tab) ==> Show Average Rating (tick-box)

Not Behavior.
