H2O - Text justification results in chopped off letters
I received my H20 yesterday and converted my ePubs to KePubs. I've noticed that sometimes justified text is cut off on the right and sometimes it isn't. I've sideloaded a handful of books, and they all have this issue.
If I toggle on/off "Show header and footer" sometimes the problem will correct itself. Or if I return to the homescreen and re-enter the book, the text displays fine. I'm stumped as to why this is happening. When text isn't justified, it displays fine. |

This is a known bug, with no proper fix. It's not the justification, that may just be making it worse, the issue is the 'Show Header Footer' comand. If you tick that and DO show header and footer it shouldn't happen but if it does it's usually because you want more text on the page and leave the show header and footer check box unticked.

I'm enjoying the H20. Love the warm-toned display and the bigger screen. ![]() Last edited by SCION; 11-06-2014 at 02:10 PM. |

I have the same problem, but I find using epubs makes everything a bit slower. Page turns are slower, highlighting is more problematic. I get this strange slow flashing when I highlight on epubs. This doesn't happen for me when using a kepub of the same book. Has anyone else experienced this?
For whatever reason, Kepubs just run much smoother for me. Since I prefer the way kepubs render visually as well, it's better all around for me. |
