Better Organize
Guys, i bought the PW a few weeks back and dont know many things about it.
I know i cant jailbreak or downgrade since my firmware is 5.7.2.1 (it upgraded as soon as i turned it on). But im having a hard time organizing my library. I cant set the books orders and creating collections diirectly on the device is a pain. Any tips or tricks? Thanks. |

First Download Calibre and add you books, look at the metadata plugboards and add one to prefix the book title with series info etc. e.g. my plugboard for all AZW3 format, any device {#universe:|| - }{series:'test(ifempty(field('#overallseries'),"") ,field('#overallseries'), $)'|| - }{series_index:0>2s|| - }{title} Obviously this is based on my personal added columns and ordering etc so wont work for you. Second Get the Kindle App on your phone/tablet and manage collections on that, its a lot faster than on the kindle itself but can lead to some odd ordering as the Kindle looks at some sort of date for the collections whereas the app doesnt. This obviously relies on all your books being bought from Amazon OR mailed to your kindle as Personal docs so they are on their servers. Personally I use the first method as its a lot simpler and everything can be run from Calibre. |

Read the Manuel it tells Exactly How to make New Collection. & How to Down Load Your Collection from the Cloud. Neither can be done unless the PW is on your Amazon Account.

Interesting because I find collection organization better on the PW than on the android. But then I guess it all depends on how many collections and/or Amazon books you have in your library. I have a very large Amazon library as well as a few hundred collections in my library.

Personally, with a completely full Voyage, I find plugboards a lot better than collections. Whatever works best for you.
