Can I "root" a Glo without wifi?
I'm considering buying a Kobo Glo that has defective wifi. It cannot connect to wifi, and the device is NOT registered.
My question is simple: Can I install Android on the device even though it is unregistered and has no ability to connect via wifi? |

Should be no issue at all. Kobo "hacking" does not require WiFi; rather the majority of it is performed by copying files to the device via a USB connection.

That's what I thought. Thanks. My main concern was that it is not registered, but as the "root" involves overwriting everything, I guess it will be no problem.
