Can one prevent metadata download from downloading covers?
Is there any way to prevent Calibre from downloading covers when downloading metadata?

I want to download selected metadata but never want to download covers. As it is I have to wait for the covers to download even though I don't want them and it also makes me click through a few more actions before getting to the next book.

@chrisisbd - If you use the ctrl/d method (in the book list, not metadata edit) of downloading metadata you have choice to download metadata, download covers, or download both.

You don't need to wait for the covers to download. Just press OK when the current cover is displayed and it will be selected and the window closed.

But, I have always thought it was strange that the "OK" and "Next" buttons on the metadata download page do the same thing. I keep expecting the "OK" button to behave like a "Finish" button in a wizard. That is, accept the metadata and close without going to the next page.
