Finding Something Good to Read

I am having a hard time finding books that can hold my interest.
Does anyone else have this problem? I read the sample of Running with Scissors and it was great! However I'm having a problem paying $9.99 for it.

I have the opposite problem. I have wayyyy too many books on my list. I won't finish them all in my lifetime.

Amazon has the Kindle edition of that book for $8.89.

In Australia, "Running with Scissors" is available to borrow as an ebook on Overdrive, so it's probably worth checking ebook libraries.

The library (overdrive) is a great way to try out new books. I sometimes find that my library doesn't have all the books in a series, or has only one series by an author who wrote multiple series, so sometimes I end up buying other books by the same author from an ebook store. At least by reading some of them through the library first I can be pretty sure I will like what I buy.
