Deleting eBook Viewer Searches?

Hi!

I use Calibre to do my readings for literature and I tend to search for particular words for quotes in my essays. And after searching around 100-200 words, I now have a very long list of searches in my eBook viewer fill-in search bar.

Is there a way where I can delete some of the previous searches? The list is starting to be too long.

I tried cleaning un-installing and re-installing but its still there. I've also used CCleaner, since it can clear out searches in the windows explorer, but it still does work.

Click the Preferences button in the viewer and under Miscellaneous you wil find a button to clear search history.

If you want to pick and choose which ones to delete, you will have to edit the configuration files by hand, in %APPDATA%\calibre\ (this is not cleared by a reinstall).
