Problem after debricking touch

Hi,

I have managed to debrick a demo kindle touch using Kubrick. Thanks to all the guides and eveything on here !

I have registered an account and that worked ok, but when I try and browse the kindle store it says it needs to update and then after a while bombs out saying try again.

Anyone any ideas??

Just to update with exact details. I choose "shop in kindle store" and the message in the middle with the shopping basket is "Updating your kindle store experience. This should take less than a minute". After a while I then get the message "Application Error. The selected application could not be started. Please try again."

Also , as it may be relevant. I have been able to successfully register an account on it.

It may be trying to load and install a OTA firmware update (for the demo device).

Go to Amazon firmware support website - download the current consumer K5 Touch firmware and follow the update instructions at their website.

Keep the device in "Airplane Mode" until done.

Ensure you only have a single update_*.bin file on the device at a time.
