Hello, I am very sorry if I have posted this question in the wrong place. Please feel free to move it to the proper area if need be.
I am currently having the problem of a book retaining all formatting (i.e., * / { [ ). Also, the book retains the other works of the Author, dedication, acknowledgments and so on. Previously, (I think), when I converted an AZW3 book to Mobi, or Original Mobi to Mobi [not quite sure why I do this], when I transferred the book to Calibre Companion the book contained Title, Author, TOC and actual book and nothing else. I am probably doing something wrong and just cannot figure out what is it. Help - Please ! |

Calibre Companion mostly replicates metadata from Calibre.
CC is not sensitive to the format because it is not a Viewer. (You need an App that supports the format to read) Usually AZW3 is preferred over Mobi because of formatting options. Adding or Deleting content (other than Jacket, Cover) is the job of an editor, not conversion. |
