If we could, what one bug would you like to see fixed?

This is probably an idea that would not work, but.... if we, the community, could ask Kobo to fix any one bug in the 3.8.0 firmware, what should it be?

My own feeling having tried using it of late, is to get annotation / bookmark scheme for epubs working reliably and sensibly. Ensure that it doesn't crash the device, stop showing 0% into a chapter, ensure a meaningful value is selected for where the bookmark / annotation is in the book.

I feel it would be easier to ask for a feature like this to be fixed, than for something like database getting corrupted, or power drain being higher than expected.

The lack of hyphenation in the first line of a paragraph on sideloaded epubs (requires an update of the Adobe RMSDK to a version without this bug). This is the only bug that actually affects my reading.

This. I sometimes use annotations a lot and they just drive me crazy on Kobo readers.

Sigh... Never happen, especially when some bugs are not reproducible.

I'm trying to be something that a lot of you aren't ... realistic

The bugs that are reproducible are the ones that should be fixed. It just seems silly that bugs come and go with different firmware versions.

I really just want the ability to create or delete my collection folders across all my devices without Kobo's servers going haywire. As it stands I have doubles and triples that cannot be altered.

I know Caliber can help, but it really should be Kobo's responsibility to fix. I do not have this issue with Amazon.

With Amazon, you get collections deleted when they are created with the wifi off and then you turn on wifi to buy an eBook.

The best Readers for collections (IMHO) are Sony. It just works and it works very well with Calibre.

I would like to remove the requirement to be logged in to a Kobo Account. On the two occasions that my device spontaneously logged out of my account and the database became corrupted*, I had to open the Kobo Desktop to get past the log in phase, which then causes me to need to update the Desktop, and then forcefully updates the device, losing my patched version, etc. This part of the software is a nightmare for someone who leaves wireless off and only wants to update firmware when they so desire.

*This has only happened twice in three years of use, which is far less than either my KK or Sony T1 ever crashed and rebooted, so I feel particularly whiny complaining about it, but it was traumatic when it happened while I was away from a computer.
