Any plugin or tips to get first published date?

Hi All,

I'd like my library published date to always contain the first published date, as there are always new editions it's hard to order my library based on the era something was published.

Got any tips to help me?

I mainly get metadata from the goodreads plugin, and covers from other sources.

Is there a particular source that will always return the first edition publish/copyright date or a plugin that can set the publish date to the copyright date?
